Apple iPhone 3G to be released in 20 more countries on Aug 22

Apple is ‘trying’ to keep up with the shortages and sell-outs of the iPhone and they announced that their global launches will not be interrupted by these shortages.And thus the iPhone 3G will be released in 20 more countries in Asia,Africa, Americas and Europe on August 22.
Apple’s iPhone 3G has become a major hit ,breaking the production records created by the original iPhone.Apple’s COO Tim Cook stated that Apple would be increasing iPhone 3G production. “I like what I’m seeing in the production ramp,” Cook said.
Apple is set to release the iPhone 3G in 50 countries overall and it has already been released in 22 of them.Apple should be seeing iPhone sales in Q3 2008 increase to record levels.
Update: India is on the list of countries scheduled on August 22.
