The Santa Rosa platform based Tablet PC , Asus R1E was approved by FCC which means that it will be hitting the Asus Site in a few days.Asus R1E is a 13.3 inch convertible tablet PC can be used just like a normal laptop or else it can be folded into a tablet PC style. Its having Intel Core 2 Duo Processor [ T7500/ T7300 /T7100 ] under its hood.
Its not a ‘killer’ in looks but its small size surely helps.4GB of memory is the maximum RM it can possess while a 160 GB Hard drive is present. The on-board graphics , [tag] Intel [/tag] GMA X3100 is Vista Compatible , which is the OS shipped with the R1E.
Other Features of [tag] Asus [/tag] R1E includes 802.11 a/b/g/n Wireless ( its having the [tag] Santa Rosa [/tag] Platform ‘n’ Wireless ) and [tag] Bluetooth[/tag] .But they managed to include a DVD Burner also.Price isn’t yet available but lets wait for that . shall we ?
