Toshiba has upgraded their Gigabeat T401 by making it more slim and adding more storage space.Now the Gigabeat T802 , which is the name of the upgraded PMP has 8 GB flash storage now.Toshiba is claiming an improved battery life of 16 hours continuous MP3 playback  or 5 hours  WMV playback now.Gigabeat T802 is now having Wireless network connectivity too.

Sandisk reintroduces Sansa View with all new look

SanDisk is going to restart the production of Sansa View, a Flash based Widescreen Portable Media player.They have made the Sansa View incredibly thinner to around 8.8mm at its thinnest.

Sony slips up NWZ-A810 series Walkmans through Sony Style

Sony is prepping a new NWZ -A810 series of walkmans , starting off with NWZ-A815, NWZ-A816 and NWZ-A818 in 2 GB , 4 GB and 8 GB Flavours respectively.Sony has made some additions and subtractions from walkmans through this series, with the removal of SonicStage .The NWZ-A810 series is fully compatible with Microsoft’s PlayForSure / Media Transfer Protocol certification making the Walkmans fully compatible with range of softwares for managing media file , including Windows Media Player.

Samsung YP-T10 and YP-P2 Mp3 Players getting ready to match up against new iPod

Details about the new MP3 players from Samsung aren’t yet known entirely but Samsung has announced that the new players will be out in September , around the time the new iPod’s are to be announced by Apple.

The Samsung YP-P2 is just an MP3 Player but one in its own class.With the 3 inch touch screen with resolution 480×272 , it can recognize gestures like finger swipes.It can play video files of DVD quality @ 30 fps with the supported WMV9 or MPEG4 video formats.Also audio formats supported includes MP3 and WMA.The player will be available in 4GB and 8 GB capacities in black and burgundy colors.
