Honda and Chrysler is recalling thousands of potentially unsafe vehicles which are affected by brake problems.Chrysler issued a press statement about the matter and they mentioned the problem as potential braking problems while driving uphill, now that’s something we should worry about
and some 300,000 vehicles are affected by this problem.While the Honda Motor Co issued a separate statement that they are recalling 180,000 Civics and they are having faulty Wheel bearing which might potentially make the vehicles wheel less while on road
.
Chrysler is recalling 156,000 Jeep Grand Cherokees and Commander SUV’s produced during 2006-2007 .they are also recalling 50,000 Dodge Nitro SUV’s and 90,000 Jeep Wrangler SUV’s produced this year.They have received about 20 complaints by now and they are fixing the problem by reprogramming the ABS braking system.Talking about complaints , Honda received 2 of them about corrosion in the wheel bearing which is potentially dangerous , though no injuries have been caused till now.

Intel will be starting the shipment of their new X38 chipsets by mid-September [ ie, this week ].The X38 is a highly anticipated chipset with support for PCi Express 2.0 and the dual PCie x16 graphics slots.
The Intel X38 chipsets will be having:
- 1333 MHz FSB
- DDR3 RAM at 1333 MHz
- PCi express 2.0 a.k.a PCie 2.0
- Dual PCi Express x16 graphics slots
- and an integrated core logic chipset with ISH , Integrated Heat Spreader technology which manages and dissipates heat efficiently

Intel briefly revealed a post with details about upcoming Xeon processors which are based on the upcoming Penryn based microprocessors.Intel hastily removed the post after sometime according to MacWorld.
The interesting fact about the post is that , the mentioned Intel Xeon processors are supposedly the successors of the Mac Pro Desktop chips.SO this new range of Xeon processors might mean that some Higher End Mac Pro desktops are going to be available soon.
Intel mentioned about [tag] Penryn [/tag] based Quad Core Xeon processors with clock speeds ranging from 2.0 GHz to 3.16 GHz.The new features which are notable decrease in the Thermal Design Power [ TDP ] , The Quad Core Xeon’s will be having a TDP of 80 Watts except the 3.16 Ghz [tag] Xeon [/tag] which is having 120 Watts TDP.The FSB of these Penryn Xeon’s is 1333 MHz and 12 MB of L2 cache will be featured.

AMD is still supporting their Athlon series of processors though their upcoming , Phenom is a much better platform.This New [tag] AMD [/tag] Athlon 64 X2 is a dual core , 64 bit [tag] CPU [/tag] with actual product name Athlon 6400+ .Its clock speed is 3.2 GHz.
The main feature of this new Black edition [tag] Processor [/tag] is that it supports the unbuffered 800 MHz [tag] DDR2 [/tag] .

Sun released the worlds fastest production multi-core chip.Codenamed Niagra II , the multi-core data churner is now known officially as UltraSPARC T2. The Niagra 2 is very similar to the Niagra having same number of cores.The cool features present in Niagra II gives it an interesting status.
