Intel Core 2 Extreme Mobile Processor X9000 Coming by February End

While Intel is busy unveiling their Silverthorne range of Low power processors designed mainly for UMPC’s in the ISSCC , they are also taking care of the High end Mobile platform processors.Intel is now getting ready to launch the X9000 Core 2 Extreme Edition Mobile Processor by this February end.
The Intel Core 2 Extreme Edition Processor is designed on the 45 nm architecture while the current fastest Extreme processor is based on 65 nm architecture.Intel is promising a certain performance increase than the baseline processor.Intel has optimised performance with HD related media on this processor by using IntelĀ® HD Boost technology.
The X9000 is having a 6 MB shared L2 Cache and is running its FSB at 800 MHz.
