Intel will be delivering X38 chipsets soon and X48’s will be following by year end

Intel will be starting the shipment of their new X38 chipsets by mid-September [ ie, this week ].The X38 is a highly anticipated chipset with support for PCi Express 2.0 and the dual PCie x16 graphics slots.
The Intel X38 chipsets will be having:
- 1333 MHz FSB
- DDR3 RAM at 1333 MHz
- PCi express 2.0 a.k.a PCie 2.0
- Dual PCi Express x16 graphics slots
- and an integrated core logic chipset with ISH , Integrated Heat Spreader technology which manages and dissipates heat efficiently
Also by the year end or by Q1 2008 their X48 chipset will start shipment,The X48 is an upgrade to the X38, with expected support for FSB of 1600 MHz and 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM.Though the X38 and X48 are using same PCB [ printed circuit board ] , they will be running at different specified speeds [ We can always overclock the X38
].
