LG Viewty To Have Divx Video Recording with 120fps

More announcements keeps on coming at the Mobile World Congress 2008[GSMA 2008 ] , Barcelona.LG has announced that they will be including the Divx encoding technology in their LG Viewty Phones.
The Current specification of LG Viewty KU990 is :
- 3G capable
- 170MB Internal Memory
- microSD memory expansion slot
- 5.1 Megapixel Camera with Autofocus , Image stabilizer , Manual Focus
- 120 fps Video recording
- Schneider Kreuznach optics
- 3.6 Mbps HSDPA
- Handwriting recognition for photo editing
- Document viewer
- Voice recording
- 3 inch touchscreen at 240×320 resolution

Now according to LG’s latest announcement the Viewty will be shipped with in built Divx encoder for high quality recording, making it possible for users to record video at higher quality. Its not even compromising 120 fps recording the current Viewty KU990 is having but ,its going to do well with Divx encoding at 640×480 resolution [ VGA ].Currently the Viewty is being sold in Europe and all the future versions will be having the updated hardware which is needed for Divx encoding.
