SanDisk is going to restart the production of Sansa View, a Flash based Widescreen Portable Media player.They have made the Sansa View incredibly thinner to around 8.8mm at its thinnest.

The newly designed Sansa View will be available in both 16 GB and 8 GB storage options.

Specifications of Sansa View

1. Storage: 8 GB and 16 GB versions will be available.
2. External Storage: microSD memory card slot is available.
3. Display : 2.4 inch screen with 320×240 pixel resolution.
4. Video codecs supported: MPEG4, WMV and H.264.
5. Audio codecs supported: MP3,WMA and WAV.
6. Battery life: 30 hours continuous audio or 6 hours continuous Video.
7. Other Features: FM Tuner , Digital Voice Recorder, Scroll wheel.
