Sony Ericsson revealed their new R series,which stand for Radio series.Just good for radio enthusiasts, R300 and R306 offer high clarity RDS enabled FM and AM Reception.

Both phones are GSM [ 850/900/18001900 Hz ].Though they are specifically built for Radio reception alone.They can playback MP3 and also the MP3’s can be used as ringtones.

Sony launches Vaio SZ6 and TZ20 with HSDPA

Sony announced VAIO SZ6 and TZ20 series notebooks with built in Wireless WAN and HSDPA for high speed data access.You can just insert your normal mobile phone SIM [ of an HSDPA enabled network obviously ] for high speed Internet [ upto 3.6 Mbps which will be upgraded to 7.2 Mbps in the upcoming firmware upgrade ].

The Sony Vaio SZ6 is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo T7700 processor with 2 GB DDR2 memory and runs on Windows Vista by default.Also it has a stamina mode switch for switching between full power graphics mode or power saver mode.

Nokia N800 tablet to go WiMAX way on Sprint

North American telecom operator Sprint is getting ready to offer WiMAX enabled Nokia N800 next year onwards.The 4G wireless technology, WiMAX is having range of kilometers compared to the normal [tag]WiFi[/tag] and technologies similar to that.Sprint deployed the first 4G wireless network back in August 2006 and they also announced then that they are partnering with Intel, Motorola and [tag]Samsung[/tag] for manufacturing of WiMAX chipset’s while [tag]LG[/tag], Samsung, [tag]Nokia[/tag] and ZyXEL were said to be developing [tag]WiMAX[/tag] enabled consumer devices.

Nokia’s Director of Open Source , Dr Ari Jaaksi said that the new WiMAX enabled Nokia N800 will be having WiFi and [tag]Bluetooth[/tag] and the interferences problem will be reduced in the near future.According to him, N800 will initially support only [tag]Mobile[/tag] WiMAX which is actually a stripped down variant of WiMAX.WiMAX enabled Tablet means high speed broadband net access on the move!.
