Yamaha Unveils PAS Brace Electric Bike With Electric Assistance

Yamaha unveiled their Japan only [ Nope , No Export
] electric bike The PAS Brace with a gear assistance system which will help you adopt to the optimal gear position.The bike will be 8 geared and will be available in Black, Red or White at a price tag of $1,150.
Yamaha has named their patented electric assistance system as S.P.E.C.8 mechanism which recognizes the change in the speed of the bike and the gear in which the rider is riding it and automatically adjusts the electric power to the motor thus saving the battery life, it runs on a 4Ah 26V Li-ion battery pack.
If the bike runs faster than 15km/hr, the auxiliary power unit starts to reduce its output, depending on which gear is currently put on. If the bike reaches a speed of 24km/hr or faster, electric assistance will be stopped. Owners can choose between 3 modes: automatic, “power” and “auto-eco plus”.The automatic mode will have a range up to 39 km while the power mode has 23km and auto-eco plus has 61km range.The bike weighs around 22 kg .
So those of you who want to ride bike instead of burning the fuel [ along with your wallet ],can opt to spend this one time $1150 price tag and own their high end advanced electric bike.Yamaha is expecting to sell around 2500 units of these.And the PAS Brace will be available by August 8 , only in Japan.
